Hi, I’m Arissa Mueller, the maker behind Aggressively Helpful—a small business fueled by creativity, a love of crafting, and a little bit of organized chaos!
So, where did the name Aggressively Helpful come from? Well, it’s a nickname I’ve earned over the years. I’m always willing to bend over backwards to help anyone with just about anything. There’s just one tiny catch: I might have a very specific idea of how we should go about it. I’m happy to help, offer suggestions, make a plan, and see things through to the end. And if you were thinking of doing it another way? Well, let’s just say I have a few thoughts about that, too! I mean, if you’re going to help, you might as well do it right… preferably my way. When it came time to name my little business, Aggressively Helpful felt like the perfect fit. It’s a little quirky, a little cheeky, and pretty true to who I am!
I spent 10 years as a teacher and now work as a substitute teacher, so helping others has always been a big part of my life. I’m also a mom to two elementary-aged kids, and becoming a parent is what really sparked my love for crafting. What started as a creative outlet has grown into a passion for making unique, handmade goods that bring a little extra fun and personality into everyday life.
At Aggressively Helpful, you’ll find a mix of things I love creating, from cozy crocheted animals and other yarn creations to fun, colorful 3D-printed earrings. I love experimenting with new ideas, trying different techniques, and making things that are a little unexpected. Whether you’re shopping for yourself or looking for a unique gift, I hope you find something that makes you smile!
When I’m not crafting, substitute teaching, or working on my business, you’ll usually find me spending time with my husband, our two kids, and our two Weimaraners here in Virginia. Life is busy, a little messy, and always full of something new—which is probably why having a creative outlet means so much to me!
